Prof. Habil. PhD. Eng. LT (Navy) Ionut-Cristian Scurtu is an Associate Professor at the “Mircea cel Batran” Naval Academy, Constanta, Romania. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from the same academy and later completed his Habilitation at the Politehnica University of Bucharest, Doctoral School of Energy Engineering. His academic and research expertise covers mechanical engineering, naval engineering, energy systems, fluid mechanics, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and engineering efficiency and optimization. Prof. Scurtu’s research focuses on environmental sciences, ecological engineering, energy and fuels, and materials science, contributing to interdisciplinary developments in engineering and sustainable technologies. He has published several scientific works in international journals and conferences, and his research contributions are indexed in major scientific databases including Web of Science (Researcher ID: O-2089-2018) and Scopus (ID: 57211681410). He actively contributes to research and academic activities in the fields of engineering innovation, energy systems, and advanced materials.

Paata J. Kervalishvili earned his Ph.D. and Doctor of Engineering in 1978 from the Institute Giredmet, Moscow, and a Doctor of Physics and Mathematics from the Kurchatov Institute in 1984. He was awarded the USSR Professor title in 1989. He worked as a scientist and director within the USSR atomic program until 1992 and later continued his academic and research career across Europe and the USA, collaborating on international projects and serving as a professor at leading universities. His research covers multiple areas of physics and advanced technologies. He has authored over 500 publications, holds several patents, and is a member of more than 20 academies. He currently serves as President of the Georgian Academy of Natural Sciences and the Euro Mediterranean Academy of Arts and Sciences.

Prof. Ján Dusza, DrSc., is an academician and leading materials scientist at the Institute of Materials Research, Slovak Academy of Sciences, Košice, Slovakia, where he heads the Division of Ceramic and Non-Metallic Systems and PROMATECH. His research centers on advanced ceramics, ceramic composites, ultra-high temperature ceramics, and high-entropy ceramics. He has an extensive publication and citation record and is a recipient of major distinctions, including the Alexander von Humboldt Award and the ESET Science Award.

Dr. Raida Ibaeva is an Associate Professor and a leading research scientist at the Institute of Physics, Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan, where she heads a laboratory. Her research focuses on nanostructures, the role of Rashba spin–orbit interaction in low-dimensional systems, and semiconductor nanostructures. She has authored numerous scientific articles and a monograph in this area. Her innovative contributions were recognized with an award for best theoretical research at an international conference.

Prof. Slavik Avagyan is a researcher in the natural sciences with broad interests spanning atmospheric physics, astronomy, and astrophysics. His work includes studies on the formation of hail and snow, stellar energy sources, and theoretical questions in cosmology. He has presented his research at major international scientific meetings, including the XXI International Congress of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (Warsaw, 2004) and the IAU XXVIII General Assembly (Beijing, 2012). Prof. Avagyan has also contributed to discussions on foundational physics topics, notably the Michelson–Morley experiment, and has explored alternative perspectives on cosmological models and the stability of the Solar System.
